Broccoli Salad with Smoked Salmon and Soy Sauce

It does not get much simpler than this assembly salad I came up with to use leftover cooked broccoli. Yet this is a dish I will be eating regularly, as it is refreshing, exotic in a very simple way, and healthy.

For the sauce mix in a bowl:

  • Soy sauce, 1 volume

  • Mirin (alternatively dissolve some sugar in the lime juice), 1 volume

  • Lime Juice, 1,5 volumes

On a plate place:

  • Broccoli, boiled or steamed small florets

  • Red chilli, deseeded and thinly cut

  • Spring onion, green and white parts, thinly sliced at an angle

  • Smoked Salmon, fillet shaped into florets

Dress with the sauce and sprinkle:

  • Sumac

  • Nigella Seeds

  • Sesame Seeds, toasted

  • Sea salt flakes

Garnish with:

  • Coriander, fresh leaves
